Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1909.44/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to laboring and delivery patients in a high-volume obstetrics unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate maternity care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to assess patient status continuously.

• Administer medications and interventions per established protocols, including induction and epidural management.

• Support patients through labor, providing education, comfort measures, and emotional reassurance.

• Document clinical observations, procedures, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Assist during deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean births, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to prepare patients for procedures and postpartum care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of obstetrics experience.

• Must possess BLS certification; NRP certification required.

• Preferred candidates will have ACLS and intermediate fetal monitoring skills.

• Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities.

• Capable of managing high-stress situations with compassionate professionalism.
