Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of MRI experience with adolescent to geriatric patients. Requirements ARRT certification required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required MRI Registry certification preferred Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience required, adolescent to geriatric population Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program Must obtain advanced ARRT registry in MRI within 1 year of hire if not already held GE 1.5T and 3T scanner experience preferred Epic EMR experience Excellent communication and patient care skills required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to push/pull up to 46 lbs, carry 25 lbs, grip up to 50 lbs, pinch grip 6 lbs, and climb an 8-10 inch step Must be able to reach forward and bend for up to 5 minutes continuously and maintain balance Frequent hand coordination required Responsibilities Interventional Radiology floor setting within the MRI department Patient population includes all inpatient types such as ICU (vented patients), ER, stroke, trauma, and anesthesia cases, as well as outpatients Equipment includes GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI scanners Uses Visage as PACS system and Medicalis EMR system is Epic Evening shift, 4x10 schedule from 2:30pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday May be asked to work Tuesday through Friday with advance notice Weekend hours as required by facility, including holidays that fall on scheduled work days Call requirement of every 5th weekend (Friday 3pm-7am, Saturday 24hr, Sunday 24hr) plus 2-3 days per pay period Float requirements as needed by facility Evening shift orients on day shift, requiring full availability during orientation week Perform specialized MRI procedures resulting in diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation Provide essential patient care during MRI procedures and apply MR safety principles Works with all types of patients including vented patients and anesthesia cases Ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, patient-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in their work Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with no declinations accepted Black scrubs required for top, bottoms, and jacket Level 2 Trauma Center, Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level 1 STEMI Center Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr
