Surgery Rn CirculatorSpencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.Spencer Hospital Surgery Center performs a multitude of specialties including: general, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy averaging 550+ surgeries per month. Surgery business hours are Mon-Fri with minimal on call weekend and holiday rotations.Responsibilities:Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Operating Room areaAssumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work periodCollaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient careMust have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patientsRequirements:One year experience as an Surgery RN Circulator preferredMust be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systemsActive IA RN license or compact stateBLS and ACLS are required or at time of hire (in-house education provided)Schedule - Two Shifts Available:70 hours a pay periodMon-Fri; 6:30a-5pMinimal on-call weeknights and weekend rotationThe schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the departmentSpencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
