Hospitalist Physician

Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to provide obstetric care in a hospital setting. The role involves no GYN coverage, but backup support is available from other OBs, General Surgery, and ER physicians. The hospital handles an average of 72 deliveries per month. A Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist is available onsite but not on the premises at all times. In-house anesthesia coverage is provided 24/7. The anticipated patient load includes approximately 600 assigned patients and 40 unassigned patients. Current delivery coverage includes one in-house Laborist, with private physicians managing some of their own patients. The facility does not have an onsite Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), but the main hospital has a Level 3B NICU, with 10 newborn bassinets and 10 LDRPs. The GYN responsibilities are limited to emergent situations.

Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
