Injection Molding Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily injection molding production activities.
- Lead, train, and monitor machine operators and production employees.
- Set up, start, and monitor injection molding machines and production processes.
- Ensure production schedules and output goals are met.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, scrap, and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot basic molding, machine, and production issues.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve equipment and quality concerns.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Inspect finished products and address defects or production issues.
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, scrap, and quality records.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Assist with mold changes, material changes, and machine setup as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime.
- Communicate production updates, issues, and staffing needs to management.
- 3+ years of experience in injection molding manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, materials, and processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
- Experience with quality control and production documentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
