Job Description

• Design Specialized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies that support their goals for functionality
• Implement Therapy Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to assist patients in enhancing their motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and inclusive care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to encourage continuous progress at home
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Education

• Bachelors or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are valued and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
