Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist Position - Iowa

Position Title: OB Hospitalist

Location: Iowa

Available Positions: 1

Provider Information:

Specialization: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Employment Type: Locum Tenens
Provider Role: Physician
Required Credentials: MD
Board Certification: Board Certified or genuinely board eligible

Shift Information:

Work Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
Monthly Shifts: Approximately 6.5 shifts
Specific Dates: July 2 - December 31, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities:

Case Volume: Around 1,389 OBED visits each year, with about 463 leading to deliveries
Licensing Requirements: Active medical license in Iowa (no licensing assistance available)
Patient Demographic: Obstetric patients
Procedures: Standard OB hospitalist procedures (details available upon request)

Additional Details:

Licensing Flexibility: Must have an active Iowa license or IMLC
Projected Start Date: May 29, 2026
Privileging Timeline: To be determined
