Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics providing life-shaping services for children with autism and their families. We focus on early intervention, comprehensive support, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning tailored to each child and family. Our model is specifically designed for young children with autism. What You'll Do: Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, planning and implementing naturalistic speech therapy for children aged 1-5 in a center-based setting. Gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs. Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists). Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and execute effective programs, including co-treatments. Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate changes to team members and families. Partner with families to develop goals, communicate progress, and provide coaching and support throughout their journey. Qualifications Desire to contribute to advancing autism therapy standards. Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. License to practice speech pathology in Colorado. Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams. Ability to connect and engage with young children, embodying a playful spirit.
