Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring high standards of patient safety and treatment. Supervises nursing staff, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and promotes a healing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting and analyzing relevant health data.
• Develop individualized care plans and implement targeted interventions.
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families, providing health information and emotional support.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the practicing state.
• Possess current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health records.
• Obtain and maintain ACLS certification from AHA or ARC.
