Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position supporting patients recovering from anesthesia in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires critical care PACU experience, participation in rotating schedules, and availability for scheduled on-call responsibilities.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Illinois licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; at least 3 years of solid acute care hospital experience; at least one completed travel contract; critical care Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience; passed electrocardiogram (EKG) test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Schedule: Rotating start times between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Scheduled on-call responsibilities include three weeknights from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM and one 24-hour weekend per 6-week schedule, with a 30-minute callback requirement. Holiday coverage follows the call rotation.
