Credit Specialist

Credit SpecialistRegions Hospital is looking for an outstanding Credit Specialist to join our team! The Credit Specialist ensures that confirmed patient and insurance credits are refunded in a timely manner and are compliant with applicable regulations and payer requirements. The role helps our organization maintain accurate accounts receivable and maximize patient satisfaction, and we center our service excellence on patient care and patient relationships.This position is eligible to work remotely following onsite training in Saint Paul. Employees must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions.Work Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions, with the ability to train in Saint Paul.Preferred Qualifications:Two years of experience in medical billing or previous recent credit experience (within the last two years).Knowledge of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing.Additional Information:This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $23.18-$34.77 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
