As a Security Officer Patrol in Flagstaff, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe visitor activity, and report security-related concerns.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance-related issues, while communicating professionally with local management, tenants, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
