Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Server to join our Assisted Living team. This role is essential to creating a positive dining experience for our residents by providing courteous meal service while following dietary guidelines and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in the dining room in a friendly, respectful manner

• Assist residents as needed during meals while promoting dignity and independence

• Accurately follow resident diet orders, portion control, and special dietary needs

• Set up, break down, and clean dining areas before and after meals

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishware, and service areas

• Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident needs

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies

• Assist with food preparation and dishwashing as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience a plus (but not required)

• Ability to work with elderly residents in a compassionate and patient manner

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Must be able to pass background screening and comply with state requirements
