We learn continuously, both on the job and through formal training programs.Job DescriptionPrimary skills: Unix and sql , Banking / Financial , API Testing Mid level QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in the finance industry ( commodities/exchange trading environment a plus )- Experience with end to end testing, interaction/integration with multiple downstream systems- Strong understanding of testing life cycle ( experience with agile life cycle a plus )- Familiarity with Java based environment(experience with IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ)- Experience in test case authoring, Execution and Reporting- Knowledge on test and defect management tools ( Quality Center, Jira )- Strong knowledge of SQL and able to write queries to verify data in Oracle DB- Strong communication ( written / verbal ) skills- Experience with Automation tools a plus ( Selenium )- Experience with development of test harness ( Java ) as part of internal testing a plus- Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented- Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment-Automated test script executionDesired Skill Sets:--API testing experience-Understanding of trading concepts SummaryType: Full-timeFunction: Information TechnologyExperience level: Not ApplicableIndustry: Computer Software
