Comfort Keepers Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time, remote role. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of couples and families to identify their unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
  • Deliver high-quality counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other relevant modalities to facilitate positive change.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and nurturing healthy relationships, providing clients with practical tools and strategies for everyday challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including session notes and treatment goals, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded and coordinated approach to client care, fostering an integrated support system for families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on couples and families, guiding them through various relational challenges such as communication breakdowns, parenting issues, and conflict resolution. You will work with diverse populations, addressing a wide range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • An active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans specific to relational dynamics.
  • Proven ability to execute evidence-based therapeutic techniques with clients effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working with couples and families in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions.
  • Experience with diverse cultural backgrounds and a strong understanding of the impact of cultural contexts on marital and family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, including a sign-on bonus.
