Project Manager

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer / Project Manager to support construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, with in the concrete industry. This role focuses on planning, coordination, cost control, and ensuring successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction Lead project handoff and review scope, plans, and specifications Identify issues, create RFIs, and recommend value engineering solutions Manage submittals, including review of rebar, mix designs, and shop drawings Develop schedules, material plans, and pour sequences Coordinate with Superintendent on equipment, logistics, and timelines Project Execution Attend project meetings and track progress Monitor labor, budget, and schedule performance Manage change orders and coordinate with estimating Communicate with clients regarding updates, delays, and issues Closeout Analyze project performance and identify lessons learned Prepare final reports and secure client sign-off Archive project documentation Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience Must have experience in the concrete industry Experience in construction project coordination or management Strong knowledge of drawings, scheduling, and cost control Excellent communication and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive pay and benefits Growth opportunities Team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Corporation
