Software Developer II

Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

* 2-5 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent experience through projects, internships, or a bootcamp * Working knowledge of Python and familiarity with SQL and relational databases * Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, a genuine desire to learn, and comfort asking questions * Preferred: exposure to FastAPI or Flask, ETL or data pipelines, AWS or other cloud platforms, or asynchronous programming * Our technology stack includes Python, SQL, FastAPI, Flask, PostgreSQL, some NoSQL, Apache Airflow, AWS, and Docker

Responsibilities:

* Build internal tools with our editorial, audience, sales, and operations teams to make their work faster and more reliable * Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain our ETL pipeline, resolving issues to support smooth daily operations * Improve existing tools and systems by adding features based on team needs * Work with non-technical colleagues to understand their challenges and turn them into practical solutions * Write clean, maintainable code and continue developing your skills with guidance from senior engineers
