Location: Remote (Must Be Located In One of the Following States: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Washington)

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: $30 - $35/hour

The Role:

• Builds solid relationships with partners and within organization
• Understands company services to identify and assess qualified business opportunities
• Sources, reviews, and responds to grant and other funding opportunities
• Research new funding sources at local, state, and federal levels as well as with corporate and private foundations
• Identify, compile, describe, organize, analyze, and present data and information for business projects and grant proposals
• Analyze RFP opportunities, summarize key findings, and facilitate team-based discussion with senior staff in making decisions about whether to pursue funding opportunities and coordinate response, if applicable
• Attend bidder’s conferences and technical assistance workshops as necessary
• Tracks and reports funding opportunities

Our ideal Candidate:

• Has relationships with federal, state and county funders
• 2 Years of grant writing experience

Minimum Requirements to be Considered:

• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, English, health science, public administration, business, communications, public health or related field
• Demonstrated success in obtaining grant driven funding and proven ability to research grant prospects for proposal writing
• 2 years of grant writing experience
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications and digital research tools including AI
• Ability to write clear, structured, articulate and persuasive proposals. Strong editing skills.
• Ability to work well independently under pressure and manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Highly organized, self-motivated, positive and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Upholds the principles of ethical conduct
• A basic knowledge of substance use disorders and their effects on individuals, families, and communities
• Intermediate knowledge of government organization and administration
• Intermediate knowledge of foundation and government funding streams and cycles
