Accounting Manager/ Controller

Position Overview Seeking an ambitious and high-performing Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to work directly alongside the Controller and develop into a Controller or Junior Controller role over the next several years. The ideal candidate is eager to take ownership, continuously improve processes, and grow within a fast-paced organization. Location: Onsite (Full-Time). Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Coordinate and support annual external audits and other compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives. Mentor and support junior accounting staff as the department grows. Work closely with the Controller on day-to-day accounting operations and special projects, preparing for increased leadership responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience supporting or leading external audits. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hands‑on environment. CPA designation is a plus. Public accounting or Big Four experience is preferred but not required. What We're Looking For A motivated professional looking for long-term career growth.
