Opportunity: A leading regional cancer program in the Capital Region of New York is seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to lead its growing team as Medical Director. This position offers an excellent mix of outpatient and inpatient consultative work in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong APP and hospitalist infrastructure.

Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Setting: Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults only Patient Volume: - Physicians see 15-18 patients per day (option for higher volume if desired) - APPs see 10-12 patients per day Inpatient Coverage: - Average hospital census: 20-30 patients daily - 1:5 call rotation (transitioning to 1:7 as recruitment expands) - Hospitalists handle admissions and inpatient APPs manage follow-up care Afterhours Call: One weeknight block every 5 weeks Weekend Call: Friday-Sunday every 5 weeks EMR: Epic
