This position performs emergency repairs or adjustments to maintain hospital integrity.**ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs mechanical rounds of hospital equipment and complete appropriate paperwork.* Performs zone maintenance rounds.* Performs PM’s on assigned equipment.* Monitors and makes repairs as needed.* Participates in Mechanic’s on-call rotation* Performs other duties as needed or assigned.* Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position**JOB QUALIFICATIONS*****Required***:* High school diploma or equivalent ***Preferred***:* HVAC Certification of training from an accredited trade school or Technical College* Carpentry, painting, sheetrock skills* Two (2) years’ experience in hospital setting* Technical Training in a Craft or Trade Labor program
