Inventory Control Associate

Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist – Battery Production will work closely with Battery Production team members to support administrative functions, inventory control, and inventory reconciliation related to EV battery life cycle management programs. This role includes order processing and logistics coordination, inventory control, production planning, maintaining critical stock levels, and performing inventory and cycle counts. The position will also collaborate with the Logistics Center to coordinate order processing and logistics functions. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain good attendance and punctuality Adhere to all company policies and procedures Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any hazards or incidents Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders Reconcile inventory reports Communicate with customers (dealers, program leads, etc.) via phone, email, chat, or in person to resolve inventory and stock inquiries Collect and enter information for battery and/or component orders Address customer questions and complaints; escalate complex issues to a supervisor as needed Provide updates during bi-weekly team meetings Partner with management to implement efficient Battery Production processes and address operational concerns Monitor and maintain inventory levels for Battery Production programs Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Required Skills & Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Team-oriented with demonstrated collaboration skills Self-starter with a proactive approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong creative problem-solving abilities Comfortable navigating multiple systems and software platforms Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in inventory control, production planning, and/or administrative support preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires walking and standing for extended periods, as well as sitting for long periods when needed. The role involves talking, seeing, hearing, computer work, and frequent phone communication. The position may require lifting up to 45 pounds.
