Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies in accordance with ARDMS credentials and facility protocol
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain sterile technique
• Operate and optimize images on ultrasound equipment (Canon Aplio 1800 and GE LOGIQ E10 R4); select probes and adjust settings for diagnostic quality
• Document findings in the Epic EMR system, label studies accurately, and communicate results to radiologists or ordering physicians
• Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report malfunctions; adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Participate in rotating assignments between campus sites as needed to meet patient volumes and workflow

Requirements

• Active NYS Radiologic Technology Licensure; CT Certification; NYS injection Certification
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular (active)
• Minimum 5 years of ultrasound clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred
• Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
• BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
• Ability to work on-site in a hospital setting and float between campus locations as needed
• Evidence of reliable transportation; willingness to work 10-hour days and participate in floating assignments
