Speech-Language Pathologist

Provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders in a Norfolk, Virginia school setting. Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and support IEP goals as part of a 14-week contract. Impact student outcomes and collaborate with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and support IEP goals in collaboration with the school team.
• Provide therapy sessions during scheduled days, totaling 37.5 hours per week, following district procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and session records.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent for licensure)
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• 37.5 hour per week schedule
• Ability to collaborate with educators and families
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must meet all facility onboarding requirements
• Background check may be required per school district policy

Preferred Skills:

• ASHA CCC certification preferred
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
