Legal Assistant - Orlando, FL

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Orlando to identify a Legal Assistant for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to one or more attorneys.
• Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• File documents electronically through the Florida E-Filing Portal and assist with federal e-filing when needed.
• Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Open and maintain electronic and physical case files.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Perform additional administrative duties to support the litigation team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of legal assistant experience, preferably supporting litigation attorneys.
• Experience with Florida state court e-filing is required.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal case management software.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
