Senior Relationship Manager

The Relationship Manager is responsible for originating, developing, and managing commercial banking relationships through loan and deposit growth consistent with the Bank’s strategic objectives and credit culture. The role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is responsible for maintaining strong asset quality through disciplined underwriting, ongoing relationship management, and proactive risk identification. Develop and maintain commercial client relationships through active calling efforts and community involvement. Originate commercial loans and generate deposit relationships consistent with Bank growth objectives. Structure loan opportunities consistent with Bank credit policy and risk tolerance. Prepare complete and accurate loan requests for underwriting and approval. Maintain ongoing communication with borrowers to understand financial performance and business conditions. Monitor assigned portfolio performance and identify emerging risks or opportunities. Coordinate with Credit Administration to ensure timely underwriting, renewals, and documentation. Maintain regular client contact to support retention and cross-selling opportunities. Ensure loan files and financial information remain current. Respond timely to customer requests and internal inquiries. Participate in loan committee discussions as assigned. Represent the Bank within the community through professional and civic involvement. Maintain compliance with lending policies, regulatory expectations, and documentation standards. Assist with regulatory examinations, audits, and internal reviews when requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Performance evaluation and compensation considerations will include, but are not limited to: Loan and deposit production consistent with Bank objectives. Portfolio credit quality and risk identification. Client retention and relationship development. Timeliness and completeness of loan submissions and renewals.
