Job Title: Material Handler
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay: $19.88 per hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (2-2-3), 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Material Handlers to join a manufacturing facility in Greensboro, NC. This position is focused on manually moving, staging, organizing, and transporting materials throughout the production floor using electric pallet jacks and manual material handling techniques. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility
• Load, unload, stack, and transport boxes and materials by hand safely and efficiently
• Operate electric pallet jacks to move products between production and storage areas
• Maintain accurate product identification, labeling, and material organization
• Support production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Assist with inventory movements and product staging activities
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

• Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack
• Ability to lift 20–50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for up to 12 hours
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Strong attention to safety, organization, and productivity
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to work required overtime as needed
• Must pass background screening and drug screening requirements
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to interview in Greensboro, NC

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments
• Prior experience with inventory control and material staging
• Electric pallet jack certification or operating experience
• Experience working 12-hour shifts in a production setting
