- Manage a mixed caseload primarily of companion animals with opportunities for large-animal work
- Conduct mobile farm calls; participate in a reasonable on-call rotation for large-animal and urgent cases
- Incorporate integrative modalities such as acupuncture and herbal medicine if desired
- Communicate clearly with clients and collaborate closely with experienced support staff
- Maintain thorough medical records and contribute to a positive, team-centered culture Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license eligibility
- Strong clinical, communication, and client-education skills
- Comfort with small-animal medicine and surgery; interest or experience in large-animal care preferred
