Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details: Covers ER, inpatient, and some outpatient areas. Patient population spans all age ranges, 0-100. Duties include ABGs, EKGs, and all respiratory therapy duties. Uses Meditech. Equipment includes PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP. Hospitalist or intensivist in house 24/7. May be the only RT in-house.

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts, 7a-7p and 7p-7a, rotating days and nights. Every 3rd weekend. Holidays required. No call.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
