Job Requirements: Associate's Degree Allied Health, Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (Required) Experience in Clinical Allied Health Preferred
BLS Physics BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (Required)
RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or ARRT (US) (Required) Other: In Perinatal areas, Nuchal Translucency Testing Certification (Required) Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates ability to consistently produce and evaluate diagnostic sonograms for radiologic interpretation. Demonstrates competency through ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures. Demonstrates organizational and communication skills to promote the well-being of the department. Maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members. Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork. Work is completed before submitting. Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations. Working Conditions: Climbing - Rarely
