Position Summary
RCM Health Care is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher to support students during the 2026 / 2027 school year. This position focuses on providing educational and behavioral support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and English Language Learners within a school-based environment. The Intervention Specialist will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences that drive student achievement and growth. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity .
Responsibilities

- Hours per week: Full Time
- Contract Length: 2026 / 2027 School Year
- Support educational and behavioral goals for students with a focus on students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and English Language Learners
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support classroom interventions, curriculum modifications, and student learning strategies
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, functional behavior assessments, and develop behavior improvement plans
- Facilitate IEP meetings and develop measurable IEP goals and objectives
- Utilize research-based instructional practices and culturally responsive teaching methods
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student academic and social-emotional progress
- Participate in school activities, field trips, and non-instructional events as assigned
- Maintain progress monitoring and work toward student achievement and school culture goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
• Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
- Required: Current State Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teaching License
- Required: Ability to pass FBI and BCI background checks
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Experience working within Full Inclusion or Co-Teaching Resource Room models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Comfortable working within a coaching environment focused on observation, feedback, and continuous growth
Per Diem / Temporary (Hourly) Roles
