Business Systems Analyst (BSA)Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the design, evaluation, configuration, and implementation of AI-powered workforce solutions and manager experiences. The role spans business analysis, solution architecture, AI enablement, process design, and product operations. The position focuses on analyzing business requirements, defining solution approaches, evaluating technical feasibility, and determining how workforce use cases can be delivered through platform capabilities prior to engaging engineering resources.Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $75.00 to $80.00/hr. w2Responsibilities:Gather and document business requirements from HR, People Technology, and business stakeholders.Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define business outcomes and solution requirements.Translate strategic initiatives into user stories, epics, workflows, and system requirements.Refine requirements to maximize delivery through platform capabilities without engineering customization.Evaluate AI use cases across performance management, employee reviews, goal management, talent acquisition, workforce analytics, employee experience, and manager effectiveness.Develop structured assessments covering business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, security and compliance, integration requirements, and risks and dependencies.Create SOPs, governance documentation, standards, implementation guides, and reusable AI prompt libraries and frameworks.Define workflows, operational guardrails, and use case qualification criteria.Analyze integrations, workflows, APIs, and enterprise platforms, including MCP-based integrations and AI agent architectures.Perform feasibility reviews, solution validation, and risk identification with recommendations and alternatives.Partner with platform administrators and business teams to implement configuration-driven solutions and workflow optimization.Identify opportunities to reduce custom development through platform capabilities.Utilize Claude, Gemini, GPT, Microsoft Copilot, and related platforms to improve analysis, documentation, testing, and solution design.Assist with proof-of-concept development and experimentation with AI-enabled workforce experiences.Experience Requirements:5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience supporting enterprise platforms and business applications.Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements using Agile methodologies.Experience creating user stories, process flows, workflows, and functional specifications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with enterprise applications such as Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or comparable platforms. Strong experience in ServiceNow HRSD or Workday.Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.Preferred: Experience supporting HR Technology, Employee Experience, Talent, or People Operations.Preferred: Experience with AI solutions, Agentic AI, MCP, prompt engineering, or conversational AI platforms.Preferred: Experience evaluating integrations, APIs, enterprise architectures, and data flows.Preferred: Knowledge of Workday Extend, ServiceNow workflows, and low-code/no-code platforms.Preferred: Familiarity with Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Copilot.Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
