Manufacturing Engineer Manufacturing Engineer – Timonium, MD. Responsible for determining optimal manufacturing methods and processes for company products from start‑up through production, analyzing design documents, creating tooling, and supporting manufacturing operations to improve safety, ergonomics, on‑time delivery, productivity, and yields. Responsibilities Action plan – problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Partner with manufacturing operations on safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery to external customers. Ensure routing, fixtures, tooling, procedures, and processes are appropriate and safely in place for assigned product lines. Reduce process variation, waste; create standard work; implement preventive maintenance, process and quality upsets, and optimize cell design. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control concepts; participate in New Product Introduction Team. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Manufacturing) with 5–7 years of professional experience. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Minitab is a plus. Experience identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools, and tooling. Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing; knowledge of PLC programming is a plus. Location Timonium, MD (Engineering Department). Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $95,000–$120,000; eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
