**Unit Specifics:** ·

Number of Beds :  400

Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners ·

Unit staffing description- : 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights ·

Type of equipment : GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice ·

Documentation system: Meditech ·

Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications:  

• Joint Commission Accredited. ·
• CT – ACR accredited

Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting

Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently

Must have:

Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP’s.

Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IP’s to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.

Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.
Dress Code: (Required uniform) · Charcoal grey.
