Principal Enterprise Security Engineer

Salary: $184,500 - 289,050 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in principal or lead architecture roles.
• We need strong expertise in cloud security architecture, particularly across AWS and Google Cloud Platform, as well as SaaS environments such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Okta.
• We expect deep knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint security, data protection, network segmentation, and zero trust architecture.
• We value excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly to both executives and engineers.

• We will rely on you to define and maintain our end-to-end enterprise security architecture blueprint across endpoint, identity, network, and data domains.
• You will lead architectural reviews for major enterprise technology initiatives, including AI adoption, zero trust modernization, and vendor onboarding.
• You will establish security controls, paved paths, and periodic maturity assessments.
• You will provide expert guidance on security best practices, technologies, and methodologies to our engineering teams.
• You will review and shape platform and service designs so that security is built in from the start.
• You will deliver risk-based architectural recommendations that influence executive stakeholders and investment choices.
• You will help improve org-wide productivity and safety by automating control deployment and drift detection, reducing exceptions, and accelerating adoption through platformized solutions.
• You will enable safe, rapid change through CI/CD for policy and configuration, along with planning for broad rollouts.
• You will work closely with security teams, engineering partners, product leaders, and other principal architects to drive large-scale security initiatives.
• You will act as the architecture liaison between Corporate Security and Product Security to align our enterprise and customer-facing security strategy.
• You will serve as a role model and mentor for engineers and security practitioners across multiple seniority levels.
• You will act as the technical mentor for security engineers across our corporate domains.
