Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist for our client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Schedule:  varies from 7:30am-6pm
Location: Lake Success, NY

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range:  $22/hr- $23.40/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.   

 

Specific Duties:

·         Perform routine venipuncture and capillary (finger-stick) blood collections for pediatric and adult patients.

·         Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers prior to specimen collection.

·         Identify correct specimen types, follow the order of draw, and ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens.

·         Navigate the Laboratory Information System (LIS) accurately with minimal errors.

·         Troubleshoot basic LIS issues and collaborate with the LIS support team when necessary.
