As part of AIT Worldwide Logistics’ Final Mile Service Provider Network, you choose the work that fits your skills and equipment. Many contractors in this lane earn $40,000–$100,000+ annually depending on location and the projects they accept, with weekly settlements .

A day in the life

Morning: you and your helper load a boxed treadmill from a local retailer, deliver it into a customer’s home, and assemble it to manufacturer specifications. Midday: you head to an installation of an in‑ground basketball hoop. Late afternoon: you complete a single‑tech repair using manufacturer‑supplied parts. Throughout, you decide which orders to accept and when.

• Basketball hoop delivery/installation (portable & in‑ground)
• Fitness equipment delivery/assembly and fitness equipment repair
• Additional final‑mile categories: furniture, home goods, and seasonal items

Choose your order types

• Assembly Only (one‑person): Arrive at the customer’s home and assemble on site.
• Delivery & Assembly (two‑person team): Pick up from a local retailer, deliver to the customer’s home, and assemble to manufacturer specs.
• Repair (one‑person): Perform repairs at the customer’s home using manufacturer instructions and parts.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
• Physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer specifications
• Comfortable using mobile apps to complete orders
• Provide and maintain your own tools and vehicle(s)
• EIN
• Comply with AIT vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements

Compliance

AIT conducts background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.
