Come work at Stepping Out and make a difference!We are a 245D licensed program which provides services to individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome. We operate 4 person group homes, all in Hastings, MN. We offer our residents the opportunity to live a healthy, productive, and rewarding life in their community, while still having the support they need to manage their condition.Schedules available:Various Part time shifts - weekdays. Mon-Fri 2pm-8pm; Asleep overnights 8pm-7am or 10pm-8am .Salary: $18.00 hourly base rate, +$1.00 shift differential on weekend shifts. Asleep overnight shift paid at $12.00/hr during sleep hours.Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.What do Direct Support Professionals do?DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessaryTeaching and maintaining independent living skillsMeal preparationProviding support with hobbies, physical fitness program, and social activitiesParticipating with the residents in their run club activities.Medication administrationOur DSP jobs are ideal for someone who has these minimum qualifications: 18 years of age or olderWillingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clientsWillingness to participate in activities such as running, hiking, outdoor games, gym workouts, soccer, kickball, etc.Valid US driver's licenseSatisfactory Motor Vehicle RecordBasic computer skillsWhat skills do Direct Support Professionals need?No degree is required!
