Quality Assurance - QC Inspector 1st shift

Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world.The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing aerospace components and details during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring jet engine components and details to assure it meets physical specifications and engine manual requirements. It is also required to create the necessary documentation to verify conformity.Qualifications:Read blueprints, specifications, and engine manual to ensure that components meet production standardsRecommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processesInspect and test components and details machined or fabricated by OperationsUse gadgets such as micrometers, verniers, tapes, gauges to measure productsRemove products that does not meet production standards and document the quality errorAccept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the Operations and Engineering teamPerform product audits to ensure process is able to produce hardwareMust be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writingEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Associate degree in an aviation related field preferredAt least 1-year relevant aviation work experience1 - 6 years' experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection required on aviation related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and or avionic)Certify visual acuity to NAS-410Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferredThe salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels.
