Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Location: Glendale. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes according to established standards. The role includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare teams, and utilizing clinical judgment to promote a healing environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, following the nursing process and standards of care. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, coordinates with other disciplines, and employs critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); 2 years of experience; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practice state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsible for collecting and analyzing patient health data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately. All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
