Packer$17.00/hour1st Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pmWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packer to join our operations team in Libertyville, IL. The Packer is responsible for accurately preparing, packing, and labeling products for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.Packer Responsibilities:- Pack, seal and label products according to company standards and customer specifications- Inspect items for defects, quality issues, or inconsistencies before packing- Assemble boxes, containers and packaging materials- Maintain accurate counts of materials and finished goods- Follow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques for items up to 50 lbs- Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards- Assist with inventory, stocking, and material movement as needed- Work collaboratively with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet daily goalsRequirements for Packer:- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Basic reading, writing, and math skills- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks- Reliable attendance and punctuality- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team- Previous warehouse, packing, or manufacturing experience preferred- Familiarity with shipping systems and labeling equipment is a plus- Basic computer skillsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
