Sterile Processing Technician I

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support department operations, demonstrating expertise in all related tasks. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, cleaning, and decontaminating reusable instruments and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines, operating cleaning and sterilization machinery, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments, preparing trays and monitoring sterilizer settings, leading workflow in the absence of the SPD Manager, training staff, managing department safety and documentation. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED , a minimum of three years of sterile processing experience , and certifications such as CRCST or CSPDT . Preferred Certifications Include CIS, And candidates should obtain the CER certification within one year if not already held. Strong communication, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of sterilization processes are essential to ensure smooth operations.
