Essential Functions Take responsibility for the health, well-being and happiness of participant Encourage respect for personal property, equipment and facilities Set a good example for participants in all areas Supervise, assist instructors and actively participate in all aspects of the participants’ day. Assist staff with participant’s toileting and feeding needs. Work as a team with other staff Monitor social interactions between participants and public, assess for appropriate behavior Recommended Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Experience working with Special Needs recommended Ability to interact with all ages and ability levels Special Requirements Has or is able to obtain current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department. Must fill out CORI/SORI form Compensation This position is Grade 1 of the Town’s Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $16.00 to $16.98 based upon qualifications and experience.
