Family Medicine Physician (Clinical)

Family Medicine Physician (Clinical) University of Utah Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks a board-certified family medicine physician to join the dynamic team as Family Medicine Physician Clinical Faculty. The role combines clinical care, teaching, and scholarship within the University of Utah Family Medicine Residency Program and the Division of Family and Community Medicine, while providing innovative, patient-centered care in the Intensive Outpatient Clinic. Qualifications Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine. Unrestricted Utah state medical license. Experience in clinical medicine, teaching, and scholarship is preferred. Responsibilities 0.90–0.95 FTE: Clinical care at the Intensive Outpatient Clinic. 0.05–0.10 FTE: Scholarship (scholarly projects, research, and administration). 1.0 FTE Total. Clinical activities include ambulatory office visits, telehealth visits, telephone visits, support for care coordination, management of complex mental health and substance use disorders, interdisciplinary meetings, care planning, and medication management. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of trauma‑informed care and mental health/substance use disorder care.
