Information Technology Manager

MS SHIFT is a fast-growing global SaaS platform for the hospitality industry , trusted by leading hotel brands worldwide. We’re looking for a hands-on IT Manager to own internal IT operations while supporting databases, QA, and technical support in a high-growth environment.

This is not a passive role — you’ll be in the systems, in the data, and in the releases .

What You’ll Do

• Own internal IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user support
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and device management
• Support and maintain SQL Server databases (backups, restores, performance, access)
• Perform manual QA testing for SaaS releases (regression, smoke, release validation)
• Validate database changes, stored procedures, and data integrity
• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for internal teams and customer escalations
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on incidents and releases
• Support security and compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise reviews)
• Help scale IT, QA, and Support processes as the company grows

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in IT Operations / IT Management (SaaS preferred)
• At least 5 years managing technical teams (IT, Support, QA, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and MySQL
• Experience doing manual QA in a SaaS environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, databases, and systems
• Experience providing Tier 2 / Tier 3 tech support
• Comfortable in fast-paced, startup-style environments
• Able to work onsite in NYC (hybrid flexibility)

• SaaS or hospitality tech experience
• Azure SQL / cloud database exposure
• Jira, Zendesk, or similar tools
• SOC 2 or enterprise security review experience
