TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Longmont, Colorado, 80501!

Job Title: LDRP Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, NRP Must-Have: Must have 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years. Must be comfortable caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. Must have triage experience. Must be comfortable circulating and recovering C-sections. Prior travel experience is preferred. Description: Hiring Process includes a candidate interview with the clinical team. No unit manager involvement in the interview process. Travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling. All time off requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment. Required weekend shifts range from 6 to 9 in a 6-week schedule. May be asked to participate in holiday rotation. Call or standby requirement is rare and occurs during low census. Patients on this unit may require overflow for specific cases; orientation will be provided for this. Cancellations are allowed up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Healthcare setting is acute care. Registered Nurses are required to titrate drips, including Pitocin and Magnesium. Patient ratios follow established guidelines: 1:1 for labor patients and 1:2-3 for couplets. Scrub color/dress code is blue hospital scrubs. Unit-specific orientation includes 1-3 shifts with a preceptor.
