Senior Tax Credit Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a senior-level tax credit finance associate to join its team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling tax credit transactions and a strong academic background. Duties Lead or assist in the initial structuring of tax credit transactions. Review financial projections and negotiate business and legal issues. Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity and loan documents. Conduct necessary due diligence and manage projects effectively. Requirements 7-8 years of relevant law firm experience in historic and new markets tax credits. Proven ability to manage all facets of tax credit transactions. Education J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong project management and negotiation skills.
