We’re searching for Production Assembly Lead — Rail , to join our team and play a key role in driving our vision forward. The Production Assembly Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting the assembly of products to meet production schedules and quality standards. This role serves as a technical and operational resource for the team, ensuring efficient workflow, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members to enhance performance and understanding of processes and technologies. To perform this job successfully, an individual has strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of assembly or modification of electronic equipment. As the Production Assembler, you will represent the company’s brand and drive strategies to increase product awareness What You’ll Do: Production Coordination: Ensure timely processing of parts through designated departments in alignment with established schedules and part availability. Workflow & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve issues while maintaining consistent workflow and minimizing disruptions. Metrics & KPI Reporting : Monitor and report on line performance across safety, quality, and delivery metrics; maintain visibility of jobs required to ship versus jobs completed; apply troubleshooting skills to resolve production roadblocks and drive continuous improvement. Team Support & Development: Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting team members in understanding assembly procedures, technologies, and best practices. RMR Process Support: Provide hands‑on assistance with Return Material Review (RMR) processes, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution. Technical Troubleshooting: Adjust, repair, or replace electrical and electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. Assembly & Alignment: Position, align, or adjust workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate accurate wiring and assembly. Knowledge Transfer: Explain and demonstrate assembly procedures or techniques to team members to promote consistency and skill development. Testing & Validation: Perform functional test procedures as required to validate product integrity and performance. Documentation & Interpretation: Read and interpret bills of materials and technical drawings to guide assembly and setup processes. Tool & Equipment Setup: Perform set‑ups using basic tools, jigs, and test equipment, ensuring readiness and accuracy. Protocol Review: Assess equipment protocols during setup with attention to complexity and compliance requirements. Other job duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software including but no limited to applications and programming. Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools including but not limited to their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of goods and services. Skills Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate performance. Abilities Finger Dexterity — The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects. Written Comprehension — The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Problem Sensitivity — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing that there is a problem. Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Oral Comprehension — The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Position Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required . At least 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills. Experience with other Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, and Word preferred. Prior experience with ERP environments (e.g. Syteline) required. Proven experience in production assembly or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and training capabilities. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and RMR procedures. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
