Welder/FabricatorSeeking experienced Welder/Fabricators with strong MIG/TIG skills and true fabrication experience!Area: Cincinnati, OH areaShift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PMPay: Up to $25-30/hour or more based on experience!PerksFull-time, 1st shift opportunityOvertime availableOpportunity to work on true fabrication projects, not just repetitive production weldingThe Requirements2–5 years of hands-on fabrication experienceStrong MIG and TIG welding experienceExperience welding sheet steel, stainless steel, and some aluminumStrong blueprint and fabrication drawing reading skillsExperience with fit-up, layout, measurements, and inspectionComfortable using calipers, rulers, clamps, angle grinders, and other hand toolsAbility to perform quality welds on thin-gauge sheet metalStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailBasic shop math, including fractions and decimalsAbility to pass a hands-on weld testWelding certification/schooling, brazing, press brake, or forklift experience is a plusThe Daily DutiesRead blueprints and determine proper layout and fabrication proceduresSet up, align, and fit components for weldingPerform MIG and TIG welding in various positionsFabricate components from sheet steel, stainless steel, and aluminumInspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracyGrind, finish, and clean fabricated componentsTroubleshoot fit-up and fabrication issuesSafely operate welding and fabrication equipmentMaintain a clean and organized 6S work areaFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
