Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care under physician orders, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECGs, and mechanical ventilation for adult and geriatric patients. You will plan, implement, and assess therapy effectiveness while collaborating closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.

Education

• Associate degree from a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited program.

Experience

• Minimum of two years of acute care respiratory therapy experience required.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current unrestricted state respiratory care practitioner license.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) upon hire; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within one year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.

Requirements and Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory care theories and clinical skills, including safe operation of respiratory equipment.
• Ability to assess patient needs and responses to therapy across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Experience with home respiratory therapy equipment and medication administration.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
• Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork.

This position offers a 0.9 FTE schedule with 12-hour shifts and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment.
